Return Policy

Total Generator Pros wants you confident in your purchase. This policy covers returns, exchanges, and refunds for online orders in the United States.

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products, and we accept exchanges.

Product Condition

New only. Items must be new, unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging with all components, manuals, and accessories. For safety and regulatory reasons, generators that have been installed, fueled, oiled, or started are considered used and are not eligible for return.

Return Window

Returns and exchanges must be requested within 30 days of delivery.

How to Return

You can return eligible items by mail or in store. To start a return, contact us at sales@totalgeneratorpros.com or (704-987-1685) to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Return Shipping

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Return shipping is paid by the customer. (If an item arrives damaged or defective, or we shipped the wrong item, we will cover return shipping for that item.)

Restocking Fee

A 20% restocking fee (20% of the product price) applies to returned items.

Refunds

After we receive and inspect your return, we process your refund to the original payment method within 7 days, less the 20% restocking fee.

Damaged or Defective Items

Inspect your shipment on delivery, note any freight damage on the delivery receipt, and contact us within 48 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair.
